Aaron, a self-described corporate refugee and knowledge hound, is the Founder and Managing Director of EVO3 Workspace, a tech-heavy coworking space located in Frisco, Colorado. In addition to building the first-of-its-kind tech hub and coding school in a community historically dominated by tourism and real estate, Aaron is the co-founder of the EVO3 Foundation. Focused on addressing the deficiencies of STEM curriculum in public schools, the foundation is introducing students to javascript app development with their “500 Kids in 500 Days” initiative.

Peder Hansen


Peder is the STEM coordinator and Media Specialist at Frisco Elementary School in Frisco, Colorado. Frisco Elementary is a STEM, International Baccalaureate, and design thinking focused school in the mountains of Colorado. After teaching 3-5th grade for 13 years, he spent the last 3 years dedicated to bringing a STEM education to Summit County students. Creating a STEM education for learners means more than simply focus more on science,technology, engineering and math. The design focus also drives them to be problem solvers in the community and entrepreneurs in their lives and learning.

This focus has been an incredible opportunity to create partnerships with businesses and community members that bring more to the classroom than any one teacher ever could.  The EVO3 Foundation shares that spirit and Peder is excited to be working with amazing people who strive to give back to their community and help students thrive in school and personal endeavours!

Philip Mervis


Having worked in the U.S. and Australia for various technology providers, Philip currently serves as an account manager for a SaaS proposal solution.  He also enjoys working within the local community as a realtor.  Although actively licensed, he describes himself as a “recovering” attorney.  As an EVO3 Foundation co-founder, Philip’s main focus is working with local nonprofits to assist with tech needs.  He has previously assisted local nonprofits with their online presence, including Adopt an Angel, Advocates for Victims of Assault, and Blue River Watershed Group.  Philip was also the chief website architect for a relief program, which provided free legal help to Colorado flood victims and garnered an extraordinary achievement award from the American Bar Association.

Karl Larson


Karl started his career as a Certified Public Accountant with Deloitte & Touche. He transitioned into a career as a web developer and entrepreneur. He is currently working on a virtual reality company that serves home builders and community developers.

When he’s not working, he enjoys hiking with his girlfriend, Michelle, and dog, Marvin. Originally from North Dakota, he’s still waiting for winter to come to Denver and gets confused when others complain about above-zero being cold.

Most of Ron’s adult life has been dedicated to working with non-profits that focus on helping people.  He focuses on fundraising so high-quality videos may be produced for little to no cost for non-profits that need some help.  “There are so many non-profits that have an amazing mission and passion for helping others, but aren’t funded enough or don’t have enough publicity and video is an impactful way to share the passion and mission of non-profits with the world.”  Ron and his wife Jenn live in Breckenridge, CO with their two boys Ryker and Rory (5 and 2).
